This was the question I'd heard to one of my critics. Is she really a woman?
Now a days, it is common already to women to be involved in harness and other outdoor sports activities but treat this woman differently, I responded!
This is the founder of Abellana National School Rescue Group, Ms. Cydtheresa Vito-Gabor. She was loaded on harness equipments to train volunteers to get involved in the community disaster response. To think she was teaching computer lessons and very busy also academically training young geeks to be a world class I.T. professionals in 4 years or so. Some couldn't believe on it but that's it, she is a full-time teacher in computer class and a full-time volunteer unit of Abellana National School and its nearby communities.
Pictures are real and speaks a lot. She likes doing like spiderman, hanging in the mid air. Pretty cool to the trainees who wants to be a full-time or a part of the group. They'd been doing this since 2003. Great! they survived even lack of fundings from both sides.
Cydtheresa is inviting anyone who wants to be a volunteer and this coming June 2007 she will screen again abled personality and psychologically as one of the rescuer in their respective communities. Let's volunteer and build a peaceful community.
